Brightly-Lit Weighing Chamber
Polaris laboratory balances with draft shields offer LED illumination for clear visibility of powders and liquids, ideal in dimmer conditions such as poorly lit fume hoods. The Polaris draft shield may be removed and disassembled for easy cleaning.
Air Diversion Technology
Laboratory balances like the Polaris semi-micro balance are highly sensitive and readings can be affected by something as seemingly innocuous as warm air. For more accurate weighing results that you can feel confident in, a unique diversion channel below the weighing pan diverts more than 90 percent of warm air from the weighing pan.
Colour-Changing Display
Everyday lab weighing tasks are quicker: Polaris offers at-a-glance checkweighing to save you valuable time with a colour-changing backlight to quickly show if samples are within specified weight limits: red if too heavy, yellow if too light, and green if the sample is on target.
Internal Memory
Up to 200 ingredients can be stored in the internal memory (10 formulations each holding 20 ingredients) as well as up to 200,000 weighing results. Polaris laboratory balances provide GLP-compliant data, whether you’re printing results, or transmitting to a PC.
Advanced Connectivity
Seamless communications with computers, printers and LIMS software through standard RJ45 ethernet, Bluetooth®, RS-232 and USB interfaces eliminates transcription errors so you can trust the accuracy of your records.
